

Trey Songz's latest LP is full of such juvenile clunkers. Instead he sings: "We do it, we don't need no music." But anyone hoping that he'd follow that line with the sort of deep introspection that he seems to be alluding to will be disappointed. He will across the U.S., hitting major cities including Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York and Dallas, before wrapping up on June 3 in Los Angeles."This ain't a models or a bottles in the club R&B song," Trey Songz declares on "The Sheets…Still," a midway track with a skeletal instrumental off his eponymous new LP, Tremaine the Album (his birth name is Tremaine Neverson). On May 3, Songz will kick off his Tremaine The Tourin Detroit. Tremaine The Album consists of 15 tracks including “Nobody Else But You,” “Song Goes Off,” “Playboy” and “Animal.” So with people being interested in my love life constantly, people being interested in what it is I do in the bedroom with women, am I gonna get married, am I gonna have kids, etc.… I decided to take a play on that and people’s love for reality television.” “Just looking at the climate of today’s information and the way people intake information whether it be music, whether it be news, whether it be drama, whether it be rumors and gossip. “I was inspired to promote Tremaine The Album with the web series entitled Tremaine the Playboy for so many different reasons,” he said.

As part of the series, Songz shared a new song from Tremaine each week. Leading up to his album release Songz launched a parody reality series, where he was looking for love. “It grows the love they have for me further the love I have for them further. “The thing about Tremaine The Album that makes me most excited to release it to my fans is it’s a piece of me that I’m giving to my fans and it grows our connection further,” Songz told iHeartRadio. Serving as the follow-up to his 2014 LP Trigga, Tremaine finds the singer showing his vulnerable side like never before. Trey Songz opens up to fans on his seventh LP, Tremaine The Album, available now.
